Dr. Khan has been practicing oral surgery in Western PA since 2000. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After conducting cutting edge human genome research and publishing papers in molecular biology at Washington University St. Louis, Dr. Khan then moved to New York City to study dentistry at Columbia University – Ivy League and one of the top 5 dental schools in the country – graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He trained in an oral maxillofacial surgery residency program at Lincoln Hospital in New York City, with intensive training in emergency and trauma cases, serving as Chief Resident. While training, Dr Khan also completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from New York Medical College.
Dr. Khan is a Diplomate of the National Board of Anesthesiology, a member of the AAOMS, ADA, AMA, PDA and PSOMS. Dr. Khan also takes pride in volunteering with free dental clinic organizations around the state, such as Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Khan, his wife Afshan and their 4 children reside in Upper St. Clair, and enjoy the great beauty, schools and activities of the Pittsburgh region. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
